We understand that you want to maximize your recruiting efforts and make your presence known with the University of New Mexico students and community. The UNM Office of Career Services wants to help you build that relationship through our Employer of the Month Advertisement Program.

Employer of the Month Program

We offer many resources and incentives for students to use our services. Not only can students receive first-rate career advisement, but they can also conduct their own career research in our office through our computer lab, also known as the Cyber Cafe. For these reasons, there is a large amount of foot traffic through our office and plenty of opportunities for our employer partners to be seen. Check out our current Employer of the Month to see our services in action!

We have put together the following package of advertising possibilities to get the names of our employer partners in the minds and eyes of University of New Mexico students.

Advertising in the Cyber Cafe

Bulletin Board

We encourage our employer partners to utilize our 3-foot by 4-foot advertising space for the reason that it is ideal for posting your company's posters or other printed promotional material.

Screen Savers

The Cyber Cafe has 10 computer monitors that display rotating screen savers and is the perfect opportunity to catch the attention of lab users. We give you option of providing your own screensaver or one can be created for you.

Promotional Items

If your company has promotional items such as desk-pad calendars, table tents, pens, or mouse pads, that too can be included. We will place them on each of the workstations until your stock is emptied or it is the end of your month. Ideas from the employer's marketing departments are encouraged and welcomed!

Advertising in the Lobby

Display Monitor

We have the ability to display videos in the seating area of our lobby while students wait for their appointments or stop in to enjoy a cup of free coffee from our coffee counter. Organized in a play list, videos are automatically shown throughout the day. We would like to offer your organization the ability to showcase your company with a recruitment video or ideas from your marketing department.

Advertising on the Career Services Web Site and Social Media

Web Site & Social Media

We will add your company logo to the Career Services home page under our "Employer of the Month" heading. Users will be able to click on your logo that will lead them to a sub-page to give them further information about your company, when your company will be on campus, holding information sessions, accepting applications, or other information you would like to share with them. Also, Career Services will advertise through social media including: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and LinkedIn.

Cost & Availability

The total cost for the advertising package is $500.00 per month, plus any promotional materials you would like displayed. Advertising space will be on a first come, first served basis. If there is a particular month you would like to advertise, please let us know as much in advance as possible.

  • An additional booth/table registration (includes 2 additional recruiters, 2 additional meal cards, 1 additional parking all added to your registration)

  • Social media marketing prior to and during career fair
  • Recognition on student brochures given to job seekers the day of the fair
