Sarah Kruidhof
Career Development Facilitator
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counselor Education at UNM and will be graduating this Fall. I graduated as an international student with a Bachelor of Social Work from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. I moved to Albuquerque in 2006 from California when I was offered a job at Albuquerque Public School. After I, as a Deaf person, graduate from the program, my focus will be on providing career counseling to individuals with disabilities, including Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, to support them in their career journey.
I have gained much clinical experience working with college students and adults with mental health issues as an individual intern and advocates for themselves to obtain what they need.
I joined Career Service as a Counseling Intern this semester (Spring 2024) and am eager to learn how to help you navigate your career journey. Your success is my priority, and I am thrilled to be here.
During my time off from graduate school and internship, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I also enjoy traveling worldwide, when I can, with my family or friends.
