Darcie Metro, MA, LMHC
Career Development Facilitator
I am a Career Development Facilitator (CDF) and recently finished an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I incorporate a narrative approach to career counseling, which focuses on identifying themes and creating meaning through our lives’ stories. Since I began as a career counseling intern in 2019, I have gained experience in practicing career theories, counseling techniques, and administration and interpretation of assessments.
My own career development has evolved significantly over the course of my life. Beginning with gaining my B.S. in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University, I worked as a veterinary technologist (animal nurse) in emergency and zoological settings prior to embarking on a new path in career counseling. I appreciate that career development is a lifelong process that evolves as our personal interests, values, and life situations change over time. I am passionate about helping people take an active role in their career development. I am here to support you as you define career goals that fit into your own understanding of what would make a meaningful life.
